Birthday Weekend Part 1

Birthdays are best celebrated with family and close friends.

That is why every year, my celebration is routine - dinner with family, followed by some best friend time and sleepover with Titts. This year, there wasn't much difference. All of the above....plus stomach cramps and three freaking cold sores. In Titts words she told me "God loves you, He doesn't want you to have too much fun so he gave you cold sores and stomach cramps"

FYI, that's Titts signature line whenever she doesn't know what else to say.

"Why are my pores so huge?"

"God loves you, He doesnt want you to look too pretty and get carried away"

"Why is it so hard to find myself a nice guy?"

"God loves you, He doesnt want you to have a boyfriend and misbehave"

"Why is everything in life not falling into the right place?"

"God loves you, He gives you jigsaw puzzle to solve in your free time"

After a while, I realized "God Loves You" is just another way of her saying "I dont know why your life is sooooo miserable Tootssss stop asking me that!!!" Hehe.

My dad had to go outstation on my birthday so we had a small birthday lunch just the family - minus Along and Bamir - HELLO GUYS WE MISS YOU!!!!

Later that night Titts and I got ready for STYLO Fashion Show only to lost our way around KL and made it just in time to see people walked out of the stadium and leave the place. I'm not happy that no one waits for the birthday girl these days, pffft.

So we had a quiet dinner instead - just Titts, Dean and I at Dish, KL.

Titts sleptover as usual and we had Gossip Girls marathon and swore to never eat again so we could have figures as hot as Blake Lively. Hmmm.

The next day, Bloss and Bubs called me to have tea at Bangsar Village. While we were busy catching up, to my absolute surprise, a bunch of friends came from behind with a birthday cake, singing the least melodious birthday song in the universe. Hehe.

Needless to say, I was very touched - its been a while since we last gathered around one table and catch up.

Hands down, best birthday cake by far! Sooo delicious.

This is a shout out to my family who has been my pillars of strength in my years of living, my best friend who has seen the best and worst side of me and loves me all the same, and my friends who are always there for me through thick and thin - thank you for the presents, surprise, well wishes and for celebrating my birthday with me. Your efforts, big or small has made me feel a little more loved, and a little more special than usual - SO BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU! *POLAR BEAR HUG*

My birthday weekend was nothing short of sweet and superb. Little did I know that Titts had a birthday surprise planned for me the following weekend. Will update in the next post ♥
