Prayers and Wishes

I wish for good health, because it is only in good health I can be the best that I can be to those around me.

I wish for a family that I will forever feel close to - a bond that's immortal by prayers, imprinted by love.

I wish for a partner who brings out the best in me, a soul mate in this life and the next.

I pray for good fortune - not the kind of wealth that makes me obsess with worldly temptations but the kind of wealth that enables me to share with others and still live comfortably.

I wish for a life long enough to fill it with more good deeds than bad.

I wish for a career that brings me closer to God and gives meanings to life - a career that will work for me, not a career that will work me out.

I wish for genuine friends who bring me to the garden of goodness.

I wish for not too many and not too little - a contented life that is moderate in the eyes of many, a life that will not trigger jealousy but instead inspires hope.
